2021 HFDA Monthly Show

Show Specific Rules 

  • Horses must be at least 4 years old to compete 
  • Horses must be at least 6 years old to compete 3rd & 4th Level, or FEI Pony 
  • Horses must be at least 7 years old to compete in Prix St George
  • Horses must be at least 8 years old to compete at Intermediate or Grand Prix Dressage
  • Horses age 20 and older may only compete at 2nd level or BELOW. Horses age 25 and older may not enter any class in this show.
  • Horses showing in the FEI levels should NOT show in ANY other discpline in HF. All FEI horses are periodically verified for compliance!
  • No horses with more than 75% draft or pony blood may compete 4th level or higher.  Ponies may show in FEI Pony.
  • Horses may enter no more than 3 classes per day at Fourth Level and below, or 2 classes per day above Fourth Level. Do not enter every class at a given level, choose but do not exceed the max listed here
  • Horses may enter no more than two consecutive levels, if desired (example, some 1st and some 2nd level classes). Each of the FEI tests is treated as its own level, so FEI horses should not enter anymore then 2 tests, in addition to the Freestyle.
  • Horses entering the Young Horse Dressage classes (38-40) must be registered with the HFDA Young Horse Dressage Program.
  • Entry Fees are $50 per horse for non-members of the HFDA. Entry is free to HFDA Members.

Please read the rules carefully before entering - incorrect entries may be deleted without notice.  Entries close the day before the show.

Entry Fees are $50 per horse for non-members of the HFDA. Entry is free to HFDA Members. Non members, please send checks to ASSOC_DA - unpaid entries from non members will be denied.

Please email your entries to HFDA@HFSHC.com by the date of the show (26th). The subject of the email should be HFDA [MONTH] Show Entries. Your entries should include the following:
